OK, so all FF gurus please come in

    ...and tell me this..

I have a laptop in office to which I always worked as a local administrator right user. Now my IS guys came with a stick and forced us all to start logging in to company domain. So now I have an id on company domain, which has been put under Administrator group. But since its a new user, when I log in I see none of my old extensions, history, bookmarks in FF.....I am sure there is a quick way to get them all? Anyone...?

if you can log into the machine in the way you used to (as local admin) I know you can open up ff & then export your bookmarks to an html file that you can then import into your new FF config once you log out & then log back in the new way, but I don't know of any utilities out there to migrate all your extensions/settings to another installation...

maybe drktitan56 or someone else of superior skillz may know of a methodology to migrate your settings/extensions but I doubt it will be a one-step process

I can log into machine the same way...(right now I am at home and all is good) Its not difficult getting all extensions manually and bookmarks are easy anyways...it was just a question of principle....I thought a cool product like FF will be able to handle this.

I would have told you the same thing that BDJ said. I always make a back up on a disk just in case of the un expected.
