I know you have all been asked this question by the noobs of drugs, so i shall roleplay, and ask for you. Describe being high, if you please.

Depends which.

Marijuana, my high of choice, feels like everything just slowed down to a good level. Sences are intensified and a new found appreciation for things is esablished. Food tastes better, colors are more vibrant, and my attention is more focused on things and I can block things out and concentrate better. This however tends to lead to problems since often times I'll be cooking something, the phone will ring and stuff gets burnt when I forget what I was doing. Its a euphoric feeling of everything is just fine no matter if the house is on fire...it's OOOOKAY MAN.

Coke/speed is more an intense headrush. Heart is beating fast, and I get nervous/twitchie.

Pills have different effects, depending on each.

Acid/shrooms is just highly hallucinogenic mixed with altered senses...not my favorite but its cool to mix it with a little weed.

H just mellows me out, hard one to explain. Don't do it much, rarely use it even.

some people get paranoid while high.. One time I got high with some people I didn't really get along with, and for the whole evening I genuinely thought they were going to beat me up. The next day when I asked them if they had thought about beating me up, they said they didn't know what I was talking about. Just remember to go with the flow and don't get caught up on paranoid ideas when youre high.
That was the worst experience I've had. All the other times have been great. Its so much fun to play instruments when you're high.

Out of all the drugs (and believe me I've tried more than one) METH is by far the BOMB!! I've never experienced an orgasm like the ones when I'm high on meth. It's like cummin gold!!!!!

dude, meth has one of the worst side effects of all the illegal drugs you can take. It destroys your body pretty damn fast. Type Faces of Meth into a search engine and it will take you to a website run by the Oregon police. The before and after pictures are quite sad. So don't take crystal meth. It's shit.

Never tried crystal meth, wouldn't either.
Being high is fun, as long as you excercise moderation, which isn't always easy when you're wasted. Getting too stoned can lead to paranoia, and even though you know you're being paranoid it doesn't make it go away, which sucks.
Ecstasy is good, but MDMA is even better, it makes you feel euphoric and engergised, very very friendly, hugs suddenly become awesome and you can talk absolute shit about a subject that has no real relevance to real life for ages. The funny thing is that you can forget what you were talking about and no matter how hard you try you can't remember, fun!
Cocaine is good, pretty clean, you can actually function normally if you're not too out of it, makes you feel like a million dollars and gives you a huge confidence/ego boost, too much can make you obnoxious though

im surprised how many people are talking about being paranoid off weed
once you get over the first couple times, you kind of settle in to it and its not a big deal
dont worry about getting freaked out, it probably wont happen
weed just makes you super chill, food is great (weed often leads to the ordering of pizza/chinese/whatever else)
other than that, shit is slower, shit is funnier, and while you can concentrate harder on one single thing by blocking everything else out, hard thinking can become really hard (aka dont try doing your homework on weed)
the one thing that can suck is that unfun/uncool things can really kill your buzz, but if you do it at the right times/with the right group of friends, its all good
but in summation, reading all this stuff, you tend to focus on the negative shit. weed is a really mild drug, and chances are you'll enjoy it if you do it, i don't think i've ever met anyone who did weed more than a few times and didnt enjoy it

I think I am one who really digs the smell and the taste of weed as much as the enjoyment of smoking it. It relaxes me more than anything else, as in a great tension release. Juan gave a dead on description though.. if you were on fire... and I was high.. Id be all good.. Id take a step back and watch you burn.

my drug of choice for years was the sweet green. I've smoked the best weed, and I've smoked the shwag of the shwag. I loved the feeling of when I was stoned, me and my friends would get almost philosophical on each other. We'd sit and watch music videos for hours. I loved weed, but I had to give it up. I started doing coke, I loved the feeling of being on coke as well. My mind would be going like a million miles per hour, but my body was just mellow, not wanting to move. We would sit around, do a few lines a piece, and then have like 30 conversations at one time and stay up on each conversation. I would go on wicked head trips too, they were hella fun.

Shrooms were awesome, but you gotta be in a good mood when you do them or else you'll have a really bad trip. We had an ounce of shrooms one night and ate the entire bag and tripped for like two days. I loved it.

My big argument of weed versus booze is plentiful. You don't feel like ass afterwards, just maybe a little charcoal chest, if you smoked as much as we did. I don't like drinking that much because you can drink a lot and possibly die, be really fucked up, and feel like hammered ass for a day or so, if not dead. You smoke an insane amount of pot, you get really stoned, you don't throw up, you won't die, you'll sleep for like 18 hours, and wake up feeling like a million bucks.

I'll get into this, as a 18 (soon to be 19) year old, here is my somewhat limited experience with drugs:

Alcohol - Duh, no real explanation needed. Mostly head buzz, a kind of mellow reaction, I guess I would be a happy drunk. Some people go crazy and want to do stunts and jump off shit, and others want to fight, and pussies just want to throw up and sleep. Drink too much and you forget what happened, and the morning after can suck, not really a fan of alcohol, buts its cheap and legal (in canada for me anyway), so what the hell

Mushrooms - Only done them twice. First time might have been a rip off, I had mostly a cannabis-similiar head high, a little body tingling, that was it. I had maybe .5 grams?

Second time was great, me and a friend split an 1/8th of goldcaps (I think thats what my buddy said they were), small, kinda stringy looking mushrooms. At them cap and all, split evenly, so about 1.5-1.75ish grams each. That was fun, I had a decent body high, nothing special, but the visuals were great. I don't think I really tripped, but things around the move seemed to be constantly moving in toward me slowly, very slowly, but I got feeling nonetheless. The patterns on the wallpapper (a kind of tile pattern, like diamonds almost <><><><>), seemed to move to the left in a line, and move to the right together, like a chain of people holding hands leaning left and right. I remember the tv being on, but it seemed kinda bright and I didn't focus on it much. I didn't talk at all, but I remember my friend talking about something, basically just saying "Man I'm fucked up". I was moving around in the beginning of the experience, right after we ate (forget to mention, we did this on an empty stomach, and my friend dry heaved, they tasted pretty gross, they were semi wet, if that matters), but I tripped on an xbox controller, I don't even think I was high at the time lol, I just fell on the couch and stayed there. The effect lasted about 5 (the first 2 were strong, then it collapsed) hours or around that, from what I kept track of. I didn't get hornier or anything of that nature. I thought it was a great experience and i would love to up it to like 3 grams myself, I'm not quite sure. A warning though, I wasn't hungry all of the day after, I couldn't even force myself to eat (is this normal?). I had no desire to do it again that day, and I was FUCKING tired. I mean FUCKING, OUTRAGEOULSY, FUCKING, MAD FUCKING TIRED. I slept alot, but I wasn't really sleeping. It felt like I was just drained of my energy. The second day after I was completely normal, and really hungry.

Pot - Always the crowd favorite. Depending on what I smoke, I usually get a good head high, or a good body high, I've never really gotten both and was noticing it. When I smoke weed that gives me a good head high, its fun. I generally think about things more, and have a much longer attention span. I can play counter strike (1.6, the only good form of CS) for hours on end, and not even realize it. Honestly, its a fucking blast to just do normal things high (yes, even driving, as stupid as it is, more on that later). Doing the dishes high is more fun, you do it all without even thinking about it, putting your shoes on high is more fun, its just great. Some people say cartoons like spongebob squarepants or south park are more vivid, but I don't see that at all. Shows like south park, and I've found Crank Yankers on comedy central are downright hilarious, like, you laugh, then a friend laughs, and then your laughing for a solid 5 minutes straight. As far as most activities go, I find myself forgetting about things alot. I've passed out while really high (when I first started, twice I think it happened, the first time I started to sweat really bad, and passed out, like if you were to pass out before getting surgery due to nervousness, I had been smoking in front of veterans of the weed, and I was very uncormfortable around them, this was the single worst experience involving weed ever, paranoia), and then woken up later, and completley forgotten about what I was just doing. This most happend after a smoke fest party, where I leave high and drive home, no matter how short the distance is. You feel like your driving normal, and you usually do, but you remain incredibly focused on the tast at hand. I've found everytiem I've ever driven stoned, I will drive for literally 5 minutes, and have no idea where I JUST was. Creepy.

Body high experiences from ganja are a lot simpler to describe. My body kind of tingles and feels much more calm, I'm more sensitive. I get VERY horny, but orgasms aren't any stronger, if anything, less potent. You just want to sit down and soak in the surroundings. This is the kind of weed that makes me hungry, hungry enough to eat a lot of some really stupid food. I remember eating like half a box of saltine crackers, and there was a fucking HUGE mess on the floor, and it was crunched into the carpet, it was bad. This kind of weed also gives me cottonmouth, or really fucking dry mouth, with white spit. this sucks, you need like orange juice or a thick soda to really get rid of it.

I'm pretty sure thats my extent of drugs, I've never done any pills, and although I have had the opportunity to try blow, I passed on it, for fear of addiction.


Oh, and one piece of advice for anyone new to smoke pot. Use a bong, and pack it with crushed ice (snow is the best), and you'll swear you can't even taste the weed, because I think weed leaves a fucking nasty, stale aftertaste, especially if virgins don't clear the bong.

weed is best drug of all, it takes u to a special place where everything is juts fine, sex is crazy on weed, and its the drug that does u least harm to the brain.
when im high i do everything, party, play ps2, sex, talk, etc

I say if you want to "Get High" go out and buy a bag of weed and start smoking, it's the only real way. Anything anyone says will not make any real sense until you light that bong or drop that hit of Acid. Good times. Just remember what somone else said on this board and that is moderation espesially when it comes to Acid or shrooms.
