it won't get checked in the computer forum...

and I need a relatively fast answer.

For some reason I can't find the place in Windows XP where startup programs are listed. Im pretty sure there's a way to find a folder or at least a list of programs that run at startup.

How? (I know how to do it on a mac, and I'm pretty sure Ive seen it in Windows...)

throatyogurt Keeper of the Uber Wang Join Date: May 2004 Location: South Cackalacky Posts: 2,162/1.31 Threads: 77 Friends Network Gold Member	Re: it won't get checked in the computer forum... click the start menu then click on "run" type in "msconfig" and the click on the "startup" tab any w/ a check beside them start up w/ windows after deselecting them it will ask you to restart do so, and when it starts it has a message that come up about a "selective startup" saying you disabled the startup of some programs that were supposed to start w/ windows. tell it you don't want to see it again and click ok anytime you mess with it that message will appear after you restart.
