favorite every day (aka cheap) beer: miller high life (or mgd but from the bottle)
favorite beer: guiness or guiness draught is pretty good, so is sierra navada, i remember tetley's as being pretty good too but its been a long time since i had that

guiness draught by far. in the local bars i am known for my speed on chugging. there is a plack even for me downing a yard of guiness in 10 seconds (btw a yard is 5.5 pints).

I'm hopelessly Midwestern. Gimme Leinenkugel's. Great little family brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Miller bought them out but had the good sense not to change their classic lager.
Also, Yuengling's Lager and Yuengling's Porter. The best beer in the U.S., but you can only get it in a few places in Pennsylvania and Florida. Yuengling and Sons was the first registered brewery in the U.S.
I say this while looking out my window and seeing world headquarters for Anheuser-Busch from my window. The clydesdales are three blocks away. I see them every morning when I walk the dogs. Does that make me a traitor?

sierra nevada is the shit. They're about 1 hour north of sacramento. I love going on self guided drunken tours...
I also love red stripe... oh and any beer from mexico....no not the coronas or pacificos. I like the negro modelo, negro esp., carte blanca, and XX
