So, they were going to kill 102 people in this school, only with guns, in Tennessee, where other people with weaponry are not exactly nonubiquitous, and then get from this school to where Obama is and through his SS cohort alive how exactly? I mean, first of all, killing over 50 people without some sort of high explosive is not exactly the easiest thing in the world to do, and then the added hurdle of the SS agents makes this one of the nuttier plans out there.

Oh, oh, AND they were planning on attempting to rob a gun store. Which is one of the dumber things you can plan to do.

Um, no. The only reason this story is being popularized is because it involved the planned murders of over a hundred people and as well as the assassination of a presidential candidate.

Regardless of how well thought out or feasible it may have been, it was obviously enough to attract the attention of federal agents.

Apparently for some, I must clarify: my point was that the assassination was, by all initial assessments, an afterthought - yet the news story surrounding this arrest would have us believe that the assassination was the primary motivation of these individuals, thereby rallying the candidate's supporters to "the cause". A week before an election and that doesn't seem obvious to you?

I'm not talking about the bust, I am talking about the media buzz surrounding it. I'm sure law enforcement would have gotten these guys whenever they deemed it prudent regardless of the timing around an election, they are doing their jobs. It is the focus of the media blowing it out of proportion to be an "assassination plot" and not just some nutjobs plotting a killing spree that I see as a rallying call to make sure people get out the vote and make sure those evil republicans don't steal the election from the Annointed One. Oftentimes when a genuine "assassination plot" is uncovered the public is not made aware of it.

I can neither agree with this story nor your statement. Skinheads use numbers and other items to represent neo-Nazi ideology, statements, etc. The number doesn't represent how many people, if any, would be killed. It's sorta like a code. The Nazi's were big into symbolism; modern day Nazi wannabes emulate the same ideals.
