Well, today I had the need a good beautiful ride. So I took off for a little ride. I headed south west in Hwy 285, riding over Kenosha Pass (10,001 Ft), then Red hill Pass (9,993 Ft) down through Fairplay, then to Hwy 24 and Buena Vista. North of there I got on hwy 82 and cruised over Independence Pass (12,095 Ft), into Aspen, up to Glenwood Springs, then Esat on I-70 over Vail Pass (10,554 Ft) and back to Denver.
it took me about 8 hours and only 402 miles.
It was a cool ride up, and rainy and wet coming back from Aspen.
Here are some pictures....

This is further up the road, about 3/4 up, looking south -

Views from the top -
Needless to say, I missed many great shots, there are so many incredible views, and no safe place to stop. Tress hanging over the road, and tight turns, it was a great ride.
Hopefully some of you have something similar and will share as well.
