Re: virus/worm in scvhost.exe?

michaeljohn,

The leeching of svchost.exe is a common issue for PC's. It more or less dehabilitied my laptop last Fall. The issue could be due to a million reasons: virus, simple maintenance or trojan.

This site might help for svchost.exe specifically:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...-is-it-running/

A good source of the best freeware:

Hope I helped!
