Classic Top Gun "Subversive Gay Struggle" Tarantino Clip

From the movie Sleep With Me. This scene is funny as fuck.

What reminded me of it was that Quentin Tarantino is finally pitching his long rumored film Inglorious Bastards to major studios. It's kind of like his Chinese Democracy.

This scene is fucking classic. There is a lot of flack behind it, however, because Tarantino's former writing partner (and many argue, the only reason Tarantino movies are what they were [Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, True Romance]) Roger Avary originally came up with this monologue about Top Gun. On ImDB, Avary is quoted as saying "I've realized that I can't hang out with him [Tarantino]. I talk with him, and he just sucks stuff from me."

Anyway, that being said, this is a fucking classic monologue with (rarely cool) cutaways by some YouTube fanboy.

But I find it funny, knowing in real life that Kelly McGillis had a girlfriend during the filming of Top Gun. And there was no way she was representing the "straight way".
