What is the best reg cleaner/tweak now type package out there.

My dumb ass brother in law has f$c%ed up his laptop but good. He had no AV and no spyware/internet sec protection at all.

He did buy kaspersky AV, but of course his probs are more than a virus...

Did I mention that my brother in law is a dumb ass. He won't leave me alone. I used to be on the up and up 5 years ago on this stuff, but not any more...

Re: Reg cleaner?

Personally I use jv16 powertools, but that's me - there may be better things out there but I have had this prog for years now & IMO if it ain't broke don't fix it.

It is not a free program (25 bucks I think), but I think they offer a free trial which should be good enough for your dumbass brother. If not there are "other sources" out there that have the full version I'm sure...

Re: Reg cleaner?

What exactly are you looking for? For AV I use McAfee total protection. I also you glarysoft reg repair you can get a free version from there site, and to make sure all my spyware is gone I use stopzilla. If you need any progs just have to ask.
