This is a documentary about the abuse that has happened in Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan, Abu Ghraib in Iraq, and Guantanamo in Cuba. It specifically is about a young man, a taxi driver, who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and did nothing wrong, but was essentially murdered at Bagram. It won documentary of the year just recently as well. My biggest beef with the movie is a part where they are talking about a anti-terrorism bill that the administration pushed through Congress that would assuredly pass, but what was buried in the bill was essentially retroactive immunity, beginning shortly after 9/11, for Bush's entire administration with regards to being prosecuted for crimes against humanity--torture.
Do you think that the Bush administration specifically condoned torture of detainees? Do you think anything will come about from this after his term is up? Do you think that torture is warranted in any instance? The administration made the case that the detainees, or PUCs as they were called in the film, could be handled in any way they saw fit because they weren't in any war, or really associated with any particular country. Does the US torture? I'll give you a hint, the movie very clearly lays out irrefutable evidence that we did indeed torture detainees at the three separate facilities. Here's a trailer of the movie below, and I've included a link to the movie download on Flyupload if you like to download and watch the full movie.
As far as torcher goes, there is a lot of evidence that it came down from rumsfields level and the coward let service men take the fall, that were working under his direction....
There is evidence that bush had people torchered in the middle east before 9/11 for ken lay aka 'kenny boy', so he could sell natural gas....
And should any of these people been torchered, no.... And should we have paid terrorists to turn in farmers in exchange for cash, so they could take the american currency and fund an opposition to our soldiers the answer is no..
Has the CIA done numerous studies that prove that terrorism is counter productive, and leads to misinformation, the answer is yes...
I uploaded the wrong link I guess, here's the right one. I doubt that many of you will watch it, but here's the link anyway. Sorry for uploading the wrong link, I don't know what happened.
