an option to the windows crap viewers
i have never liked the way that those programs handle/display files .
the quality on gifs is not so hot and they run slow , the jpegs look "flat" and the color shift is noticable . i went looking for a replacement viewer to use outside of photoshop or GIMP ... i found this : http://www.irfanview.net/ i gave it a try ... it works ! gifs run at full speed and better quality . the jpegs track close to photoshop . the types of files it will open is amazing ... dl the accessory pack that is available . of course , i chose not to install the google tool bar ... clean , no problems . |
