i have a moody copy of windows (already installed) and cant afford the real thing i made the mistake of going onto windows update and clicked ok for the validation and now i keep getting reminders all the time (hijacked my pc).
is there any way i can get rid of this nuisance........please help.

What copy of windows do you have? Can't help you out unless we know.

For your question I don't think you can do anything once you've let them know that you have a pirated version. Besides reinstalling right? pretty sure titan has got it though.

here's a question though I just saw this...

What are those versions of windows you can buy that say they require an assembler and make it seem like they don't work without something else. I already have a cd key but I need a normal version, and not a loaded up with all hp's stuff version.
