It is against his NBA contract to do things that may cause great bodily harm. If he can't ride a motorcycle or go skiing or sky dive, I am pretty sure they won't allow him to lose both of his legs by jumping over a car. I am not saying you couldn't do it, just it could cost him lots of money in fines.
