Repairing video & pic files
I recently used Undelete Plus to recover some .JPGs & .WMVs that were deleted for one reason or another.
It worked fine, except that some files had been overwritten and are not opening up. Can anyone recommend a good program for repairing all types of media files. I found a couple free programs that were good for only .avi files. I downloaded a program from download.com (All Media Fixer version 9) that doesn't seem to do much in its trial version - I sent them an email but have yet to hear back from them.
There are programs out there, but they are expensive and I've really on got a couple of files to repair.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Repairing video & pic files
you can try avidemux (no spy crap or malware) :
http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/
obviously , once a segment of a file has been overwritten that data is lost .
you may be able to edit out the bad data , reform/recode the file and come up with a working video .
it will take some effort .
