Craiglist Success?
So I'm newly single and rebounding, and see all these ads on craigslist.. just wondering if anyone has ever gotten anything out of that site?

Re: Craiglist Success?
Most of them are fake, but they just rebound you with e-mails telling you to 'visit this site'! Keep at it if you think it's good, but read a bunch and get a feel for what might be fake and what might be real.
Good luck, happy searching

Re: Craiglist Success?
They recently ran a sting operation in my area and caught several hookers posting on that web site.

Re: Craiglist Success?
A lot of the ads are fake but I've met some people, I only look in Women for Men of Casual Encounters so no money involved, but most will be spammers, gay guys looking for pics or cock teases. But I have had a few successes. The key is post a few different ads in a row.

Re: Craiglist Success?
Kind of bringing up an older post, but I figured I'd share my experience. I was just trying to meet some new people in Grand Rapids, before I moved to Chicago, and I decided to check out Craigslist. I messaged three girls that sounded interesting over the course of a couple weeks, either in the Strictly Platonic section, or in the Women for Men section. Two of them responded and one I started talking with more and we met up with her friends at a local bar and had a few drinks.
We hung out a lot over the next couple months, had a little fling but then I decided I wanted to move to Chicago and broke things off. I've tried a couple times to try and meet some people in Chicago through there, but with no luck because they're either on the other side of the city or turn out to be creepy. I've decided in a city the size of Chicago it's not worth it. I just wanted to meet people other than drunk girls at the bar, and thought online might not be that bad.

Re: Craiglist Success?
the internet is the most incredible tool EVER evented. it may be our (humans) last hope to unite us in common language and help the common man gain ground against the oppressive ruling classes.
but Jesus H. fucking Christ dont use it to date!!!! you'll be sorry. it's the people who suck in real life that love to use the net. you need to meet people in face to face social settings to find your match.
