problem with IE
I use IE in full screen mode with the small taskbar at the top. It has always been setup with the buttons on the left, and the address bar on the right. Now suddenly, last night, it was flipflopped, and it is driving me crazy. I keep trying to hit the back button, but it's never where it is supposed to be. Anyone out there have an idea as to why it changed, or how to change it back. I promise reppoints for whomever helps first.

Re: problem with IE
When I go to fullscreen on mine I can right click on a blank area of the menu and hit customize. That brings up a menu of what buttons will apper and the order. You can move stuff up to appear at the left. I think that might fix what you want.

Re: problem with IE
Elaborating on what Goya said, make sure you uncheck "Lock the Toolbars" first. Then, you can just drag the address bar and the icons around. And like Goya said, clicking "Customize" allows you to choose which buttons show up, and it what order. Hope that helps!

Re: problem with IE
AhHah. Much better. I knew about the customize, which I've used before, there are just too many damn buttons by default, but didn't know about the "Lock The Toolbars" Rep points for everyone.

Re: problem with IE
Well if it's buttons you don't like, launch IE from the start, run command and put "iexplore -k". That'll launch IE in kiosk mode and you won't have any buttons at all.

Re: problem with IE
It's not the buttons that are a problem, I use some, and got rid of those I don't. I'm just used to having the address bar on the right.

Re: problem with IE
What's the difference between Kisok Mode, and Full Screen Mode? All I can see is that I lose my toolbar completely. Why do that when I can do an auto-hide?

Re: problem with IE
I've always found that the toolbar popping back out when my mouse gets close to be a pain. The lack of toolbar is more or less the diff.
Running with -k is also useful if you drop by a library or friends computer and want to do some surfing but don't want to spend a couple minutes reconfiguring toolbars on, off, removed, whatever. You just start, run, iexplore -k, <enter> and you get a "look" similar to what you are used to seeing at your own desk.
