On a worktrip to our nations capital in December 2007, I had this photo made with two Iraq War protesters. Their group was called "Code Pink"; these ladies were very nice, extremely polite, and went out of their way to chat with me.

I believe the lady on my left has had many of her arrests displayed in internet video clips. When I asked them about their war concerns, replies centered around using the war funding to provide universal healthcare coverage. These two were convinced if the war was ended, all the money would immediately go into this insurance program.

This was the first time I'd ever met a protester of any type. Anyone else met a protester??

Are you sure they were just not giving you an optimistic outlook on what our dept could go to....... I have met some girls from code pink that are delusional, but many are very smart ladies!

Nice job on not alienating them.... I have tagged along with them a few times.... They like to spend time outside of haliburton, and are single handedly responcible for moving a share holders meeting.......

The are a 100% female group, and have had some great points to make.....
