DVD conversion help!
This might be the stupidest question ever, and I may overlooking the complete obvious BUT......
I am trying to get videos onto my kids Zune. I have the proper video converter but I can't figure out how the HELL to get the video files FROM the DVD to the computer. I guess you can't convert files directly from the DVD. They have to be saved to your hard drive first?
Anybody know how to do this? A complete step by step tutorial would be great because I guess I am retarded.

Re: DVD conversion help!
Hey man I could prolly give you a step by step tutorial, but it has all been done far better than I could do either here: http://www.doom9.net or here: http://www.videohelp.com
Good luck with that man - it isn't tough once you've done it a couple times

Re: DVD conversion help!
Thanks BDJ......I've been bouncing around a few help sites but these seem to be the best of the bunch.
I'll browse them to see what they know, and then hopefully I'll know!
God damn this is a process.

Re: DVD conversion help!
A similar question would be if anyone is aware of an editting tool that allows you to add chapters (similar to Nero Vision)...

Re: DVD conversion help!
Maybe with some reading through those sites I'll figure out how to convert my VHS tapes to DVD. I know, the quality will not be great but the tapes are degrading.
