I'm still using Win2000Pro with a FAT 32 file system. If you are going to use Nero 8 on a FAT 32 file system you need to rename two files for Nero to work.
Changes to make:
C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero8\OnlineServices
Rename these two files
nosusagestatistics.dll to nosusagestatistics2.dll
nosproductregistration.dll to nosproductregistration2.dll
