Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
You know, I remember watching this stuff before shutting it off in the second part when you posted it in your Gore Derangement Thread. Totally unsubstantiated material in here. See, I am glad you post here, but the points you try to make are simply too difficult to follow. Nothing gets backed up with proven facts. As I recall, this video was made by the BBC, and I replied that if it were all true, it would have been big news here. Also, according to you, the 2nd video contains proof of voter fraud in Florida 2000. Obviously, you just can't let go of that either.
We know you don't like Bush, but he's out of office in 13.5 months. Let go of this and move on to other topics. Thanks.

We are voting in 13.5 months, we will continue to talk about this...
Let's look at congress hearings on cspan on the subject....
And you understand that this is a hot topic right now with the firing of the US attornies... The fact that they would not support the administartion on blocking votes, was why many of them were fired... You may want to pick up a newspaper.....
Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
Hey, if you wish to be a sore loser and keep bringing up this old stuff that few people care about, feel free. If you really want to make a point, try backing this stuff up with headlines instead of slanted material. When Bush is impeached or prosecuted for election fraud, I'll take a look. You never did have any comment when I pointed out the Democrats likely cheated to win in 1960. Why is that?
I don't like posting in EOTH. I only have in yours to correct the constant innacuracies you portray as fact. Probably you have more in this thread, I don't care.

Congressional hearings are slanted materal.... And headlines are the only part of a paper worth reading.... No wonder some people are in the dark.....
Here:

Last week, in her testimony before the House judiciary committee, Monica Goodling referred several times to "vote caging" possibly done by Arkansas' soon to be ex-interim, never-confirmed U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin. Yet Goodling was questioned about this almost not at all, nor did the media do much more than report the words of the former liaison between the White House and Alberto Gonzales (why a "liaison" is required between two institutions with no boundaries between them is incomprehensible, but perhaps another story).
And just to make sure that I understand your argument, I am under the impression that you are justifying the election practice of canceling out a persons vote as a stratigy to gain office is fine because it has happened in the past.... Is this correct?
Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
For every biased video you can post, I can too. I am not answering your questions with anything except videos. This one is on current Democratic voter fraud, and even references Florida 2000!

The Bush administration cracks down on a phantom menace

Karl Rove's Voter Fraud Fetish
Until Alberto Gonzalez testifies next week, the main area of interest in the ongoing attorney general scandal is the White House’s seemingly odd fixation with “voter fraud.” At least two of the U.S. attorneys at the heart of the scandal were removed for failing, in the estimation of Bush officials, to adequately pursue and prosecute voter fraud. The trouble is, there doesn’t seem to be much fraud to prosecute.
You bring a talk show host to the table, and I bring congressional hearings to the table.... That is bringing a knife to a gun fight....
If you would like more sources, please ask..... NO PLEASE ASK! And get up on current events.....
Thanks!
By the way, I don't think there is anyone more criticised than Rush....... He has made statements like volcanos are more dangerous than man for the enviroment, or that styrophome is biodegradable.....
Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
I already said I wouldn't participate in more discussions in this thread. If I do, I'll show videos like you and let people watch and make up their own minds.

Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
hey man - don't let EOTH get to you...any time I go in here I get pissed off.
I will say, though, that the idea of the election in 2000 & in 2004 being rigged is not something, in my opinion, that any candidate should "take for the team" by walking away & coming back "the better man". That kind of shit should NOT ever just be condoned & forgotten about.
I can honestly say that the results of the last two elections have completely destroyed any faith that I personally ever had in the electoral system in this country, and I don't think I will ever have that faith or confidence in our system ever again. I have been an active voter for 25 years and now I feel that my vote just doesn't count - and it is all because I feel the system failed miserably in the last two elections.
Now, mj, you are obviously getting pretty passionate about it & I don't want to get in the middle of a fray there, but you may want to take a step back from your assertion that Gore should have "walked away" and look at the damage to the public confidence that that election (and the 2004 election) really had. I wish he had been able to fight longer for the election in 2000; I would have more faith in the electoral system today if he had and we had gotten a definitive finish to the election.
for your part ddoubleez, you need to make more salient substantiated points of debate & post less videos & articles that can be readily disputed & counterposted with opposing videos & articles.
This is just my editorial opinion, you guys do what you want as long as it stays civil in here I don't care

missed this until now. thanks for sharing. I stated my views about this topic above, and am only looking at one now.
I am pretty much done in this forum, definitely with politics. I have made my points and refuted the innaccuracies. I can't further debate ddoubleez, there is virtually nothing left for me to say that I haven't said in his Gore Derangement Syndrome thread. I don't enjoy tearing anyone's innacurate and evasive posts apart, but he has brought it upon himself.

Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
I pretty much have to agree with BDJ, he should have continued to fight, as the rampant fraud and misconduct warranted it. But I do agree that at some point, if he was going to lose, he should of graciously dropped out, and conceded. He definitely would have had the momentum to continue in 2004. Sadly, I think that the experience soured Gore on running for public office. Now please post in some other thread, I'm tired of seeing only these two threads as the only active ones in this section.
Re: If you are tired of hearing about 2000, lets look at 2004
Oh, here's something to consider, how many illegal immigrants voted in past years. How many will vote in future years? (The past votes went Democratic in a huge majority, they were hispanic). I will not debate, draw your own conclusions, these vids reflect current events.

Americans are kind of funny, it the manner that they will allow a latin to raise their children, work their fields, feed them, educate their children, build their homes and schools, and pay taxes, but not vote...... I could simply stop this argument by reminding you that it is not likely that a legal or illegal latino(A) vote will probably not count, because of the past tactitics that have been used, but I will instead strike that from the the argument... and instead finish with:
George Bush and his administration took so long to take a side against latin americans this because they want them here......... Not to vote, but to work, to pay property taxes, and to buy buy buy......... Ever think what would happen to a corperations bottom line if we pushed 12 million people out of the country..... How the hell do you grow an economy if you kick out 12 million consumers and workers using tax payers money....... We went through this in the 30's with the last dollar stopping recession.... We also did it with the chineese after they finished our railroads about 100 years ago...... And I hope you know that we are still using the the policy that dictates to the concilets to advertize to the citizens of S. America that there are jobs in the US that we won't do.........
