For women who've had kids...
A couple questions actually. I just gave birth almost two months ago and have absolutely no sex drive. It drives my husband nuts. I told him to be romantic and maybe that'll help but he's just not that type. Any ideas?
Also, since after having the baby...this might get too gross for some...I've had a light brown discharge that won't go away. And it doesn't smell pretty either. Is this normal after having a kid? I don't want to ask my doctor. He's pretty hot and it's embarrassing. I've ruled out a yeast infection though.

Re: For women who've had kids...
Ask your doctor, I'm sure that he has had it before, it could be something as simple as all of your placenta didn't come out and it is now infected. did you go to your 6 week check up? you can bleed for up to 8 weeks, but it doesn't smell bad.
Part of the no sex drive can be attributed to several things. first thing could be a lack of sleep, shock to new living situation, postpartum depression. Talk to your doctor about this too.
Never be embarrassed about something going on with your body, do not avoid anything about your body that bothers you. you now have a baby and can not be greedy because of discomfort. go to the doctor, get it checked, save your self from preventable death, and your child from missing their mother for their entire life.

Re: For women who've had kids...
I know you asked only women, but are you breastfeeding? Women have a natural hormone that is released during breastfeeding that can greatly lower their sexdrive and even make it painful for them to have sex. It's a natural mechanism to try and keep women from having another birth before they are physically ready again.

You can always ask to see another doctor, although, for the life of me, I don't see what the problem is with having a hot doctor and having it be embarrassing unless you were thinking of jumping his bones.
Grow up! :D

Well I was going to mention that it's only embarrassing if you were thinking you might have a chance with your doctor, but apparently, Juan beat me to the punch.
Seriously though, I still don't know why a doctor that is paid that much money to provide quality treatment would have a patient that is too afraid to ask him a question. It's not like your bill is going to go up a few $hundred if you ask what the discharge is. The way I look at it, just by asking him what it is, you may have a willing husband in the oral sex department. That is probably a win-win situation for your husband as well!

See the doctor about the discharge. Do you really want to find out it was serious when it kills you?
Once the baby is sleeping through the night, your sex drive should return. There is a lot on your mind right now.

Definetely go see the doctor. It may be serious. Your sex drive will return in due time, you're just going through a lot of stress right now.
