linksys
Need some help... Gotta used 802.11b wireless router.... No software....
When I turn the power on my laptop finds all the other routers in the area, but not mine.... Do I need some software, or did I buy a broken unit.... It lights up, but my desk top does not even 'find server'.... Thanks for reading......... |

I have never used a Linksys router, I don't think it would be much different than otheers. Have you logged into the router to see how it its setup? You may need to hardwire to it to get it set up the way you need. Make sure that you are broadcasting your wireless network name (SSID).
