Anyone ever get "spam" in the snail mail?

I got a letter last month exactly like one of those nigerian scams.. where they say they have millions from a deceased relative... It came in the regular mail and it was shipped from somewhere.. but it cost them about half a pound(british money for those who live under a rock).. I wonder if this is a new type of spam.


then this week I get a letter from someone in minnesota.. It was one of those, chain or pyramid schemes.. where you send like $5 to each person(5 people) the list and then mail out 5 more letters to other people.

this one was hand written too... but i had no idea who the people were or where they got my address.. werid shit.

I get spam all the time in snail mail. You know, credit card apps, sale flyers. Personally I like to load the free return postage envelopes up with other crap and mail it back to them to throw away.

I think I got the same one about two weeks ago. It did seem very unusual for regular mail!!!!
