i dont think that thereis anyway that i have any type of erectile dysfunction because i have no problem getting an erection, especially with visual stimulation. but about 50% of the time when i go to have sex with a girl, ill be hard all through foreplay or what not, and then right before i go to have sex, or when i put the condom on, it stops. its like a total malfunction. someone help me out, this is the most embarrasing thing ever

Stress can play a big factor in instances like this, but I really do suggest first seeing a medical doctor to make sure things are okay. If that is the case, then a counselor/therapist who specializes in this, who you could be referred to by your medical doctor, can help you work on the psychological/emotional stressors which you are encountering.

you might be psyching yourself up too much about it, then when it comes down to it, you have a case of stage fright. It's probably something mental.


But at the same time, I don't know that much about psychology, so Im probably just talking out my ass...

i aint no doctor ...

it sure sounds "mental" as you have no problems in getting an erection in the first place . like procol mentioned , psychological factors (and there are a lot of 'em) play a big part .
you did not mention your (for lack of better terms) "experience level" ... facepeeler touched upon this , and rightly so ; it could be akin to an actor getting stage fright .

here is a short list , off the top of my head :

fear of failure/performance could be a self-fulfilling prophesy ... your mind starts to drift towards thoughts of "what if" and the next thing you know you can't get it up with a crane .

a recent break up/bad scene in a relationship can be a detractor ... you start thinking about "times gone by" or have feelings of guilt or anger .

recent stress/thoughts about a job situation , financial status , personal problems etc etc , can contribute to dysfunction .

the possibility of pregnancy ... 'nuff said !

booze ... everybody has a different "tolerance level" , but it can cause loss of erection via mental and physical reasons .



at one point in my life i developed an erectile problem ... it was seemingly random . i finally pinned it down to something in my diet ! there was this rib joint in town (aaannnd man , i love good ribs) , so my gf and i would go there once in a while . every now and then i would really pig out and that is when the problem showed up ... turns out that it was (evidently for me) too much salt .
i tested my theory by eating ribs in moderation several times with no ill effects ... when i pigged out that is when the problem happened . i tested with other salty foods ... the same results as with ribs .

the bottom line is that there can be many different causes for erectile dysfunction ... some seemingly not directly connected . the best thing to do is go to a doctor and seek the answers .

as for : "i was thinking that it is mental, but how do i just get over that mental panic" ... sex starts in the mind and it stops/can get derailed there . how to get over it cannot be covered with one single answer because you have to know the root cause of the mental chain of events .
your best bet is to seek the advice of a professional ... like my old senior DI said in reference to "social diseases" : "there is no shame in getting it , the shame is in keeping it !" . those words have held true in many other areas as well .

dude every time in my life that i have put a condom on i have lost the erection
im not trying to be a brag but i do have a rather thick pinis not rather long but its thick
basicly it seems that the condom stops the blood flow and i loose the erction

you know what the same thing happens to me sometimes. I thought i was the only one. I remember i was messing with this one girl all the time but everybody was clowning me because i still havent fucked her. Well one day my boys dropped me off at her crib and i got her to the point of she was practically begging for it.
