So, this is my first (of what i hope to be many) posts in this wonderful forum, and i figured i might as well just start from square 1.


This is my situation:

I am a healthy young-adult male with an equally healthy sexual apetite. Because of personal choices, i have made the decision to wait on sex until marriage. WELL, due to that decision, i of course have had to substitute my urges with masturbation. For the last few years, i have masturbated on average of 2-4 times a week, sometimes more sometimes less. However, probably 90% of the time after i have finished masturbating and have moved on, i begin to experience a slight discomfort in/around my genital area. It doesn't HURT and there is no sharp pain, but just something different. Usually my penis, although not at fully erection, seems hard still.

I have found that if i urinate after masturbating and kind of squeeze down the length of my penis (not hard) that generally the problem disappears. Its almost like i'm "flushing" out all the plumbing.


I have ran into only one other individual who has experienced this too. He informed me that although he experienced this sensation after masturbation he did NOT experience it after intercourse.

Does anyone have any thoughts, advice, insights, etc...? I know the best choice for me is to visit a doctor (which i plan on doing), but i figured it wouldn't hurt to check here too. Thank you!

During an erection a chemical called nitrous oxide causes the smooth muscle in the vessel of the penis to relax, and as a result of the influx of blood the expansion of the corpora cavernosa (the two main inflatable shafts)....once the deed is over...the vessels only contract and drainage occurs when the NO disperses or is metabolised...this is not an instantaneous event! Stripping the shaft may be speeding the drainage as you say.....but check with your quack all the same.

i can relate with the urge to urinate after masturbation, dont know why it happens though...

grip isnt the problem. i experience this whether i use lube or not...lol...figures

I forgot to add earlier....that if the erection lasts too long, there can be a buildup of metabolic waste product secondary to decreased oxygenation, and further to that in extreme cases, there may also be low grade tissue damage. So if you are concerned, or the problem remains unresolved, keep chasing until you get an answer.
