My girlfriend is about a week late on her period.....

we just recently had sex for the first time about two weeks ago, we have been very safe everytime we've had sex. I worried that precum from some previous romps may of put us at risk of a pregnancy.

Her periods are sometimes very unregular,so i'm not overally concerned about this.

She caught mono a few days before what should of been her period.

I would like to know if the mono is likely to delay a period, and if i should start to be concerned.

My woman was two weeks late when we first started having sex. Talk about nerve wracking. If she has irregular periods, then it may be because y'all had sex. Are you her first? If not, ask her if she has been late before when she had sex with someone else. I know that can be an uncomfortable situation to...but the underlying deal is you need to wear a condom and if you are worried, get a pregnancy test.

The only way pre cum could have gotten her pregnant is if you had masturbated previously and didnt urinate. precum contains no sperm, it only does if you masturbate and dont urinate because the left over sperm from the ejaculation is still remnant inside of the path, so until you pee you still have traces of sperm, so basically, if you pissed anytime before ejaculating you are good :D that is unless you came inside her, then you are very bad.

im lucky, she didn't missed hers... but in your case, hmmm...

luck would really play a role on this, if your sperm is strong, she could get pregnant (well from what i read, sperms live for 3 days, but outside our bodies it lasts for seconds)

if her period is irregular, you need to pray that she's not fertile (when some pre-cum enters her) but as i said, it likely depends on the strength of the sperm to live inside an acidic environment.

maybe she just missed her period.. have her pregnancy test, just to be sure...

I'd do the pregnancy test just to be on the safe side. My girlfriend and I have had sex a few times without a condom, and I've always pulled out before I shot, but we've still had our close calls. It's all condoms now, every time, not even a little game of "just the tip" without one on. I am NOT ready to be a dad at this point, and she's not ready to start wearing maternity clothing, so we're extra careful.

well if i had a coin for every time my lady missed her period id have lots of coins lol

dude sometimes very active lady's can miss their period sometimes stress can make it happen too
but i dont trust condoms and am in favor of the loop it works much better
ive never heard of a misshap with a proper loop
but it doesnt protect against STDs

She should take a pregnancy test now! Either both of you will have learned a valuable lesson about pregnancy or you will have time to start diaper training.

There seem to be several posts and the answers are always the same:
Wear a condom, every time. Put it on and take it off the right way. If you are not ready for DADDYHOOD, don't play around with this.

If you dont want any kids just go get snipped. There are some clinics that do it for free in some areas.

hmmm there are many reasons why females can get miss a period... ANY women can miss it if they are under a lot of stress, or has just lost or gained weight, ILLNESSES, drugs... if she is taking a birth control pill then the brand may possibly have to low of an estrogen level. sooo consider the possibilies...
