I am 21 years old right now and ive been watching porn since i was about 13 years old, i am still a virgin and i havent been in any serious relationships and i constantly watch porn everyday and masturbate. but honestly man it doesnt mean you have a problem if you masturbate multiple times - it just simply means your sex drive is more powerful than most and you get horny very often

its not like masturbating is a disease or anything you know? its totally normal for anybody so If you are trying to cutback its basically just self controll and dont worry if you struggle with it cause like i said every1 does it and it isnt a problem at all. what i mean by that is.. : if you get a girl and a girl that you actually have some feelings for, and you are sexually active with this girl, you will find your self further away from the porno movies and more into your girl, not just sexually but you will have less of a "addiction" or pull to watch porno all the time because you have someone to care about..

I'm certain all of us can say that we have still healthily masturbated even though we have had girlfriends. So him being a virgin or not having a girlfriend is not an issue in this case.

To the OP - I don't believe that you are addicted to porno. If you were to exhibit true signs of addiction your life would be consumed by porno - you would seek it out at every avenue - it would be on your mind 24/7. If you think that your life has been so greatly affected by this and you are not doing what you should due to porno then yes you have a problem. But if you are living a healthy normal life and masturbate then no you don't have a problem.

Ask yourself if porn + masturbation is getting in the way of "normal" life i.e. are you holed up in your room for hours and avoiding personal contact with other people, is it constantly on your mind (like skept said), do you crave it or do you get irritated when other things stop you from being able to watch porn and masturbate (i.e. if you go visit your grandfolks and can't watch porn for maybe a week, will you be pissed or can you just say, eh, it's fine, I'll get back into it when I have the time). Look up the signs of addiction on the web. I don't think you should be worried about frequency at all, since different people have different sex drives. I'd be more worried about how it is affecting your life.

yeah thanks for the advice everyone but i don't think its affecting my life or other ppl's life it has just became a daily habit because usually im stressed out and i need some alone time.

in most cases guy with GF's will masturbate more than single guys. So getting a girl will just make you hornier watching her ass shake all the time.

I work at a camp in the summer and can't masturbate as I am never alone, at first it kinda sucks but then its just something I don't even think about. If you really wanna stop, stop getting new videos and get rid of your old ones. Try masturbating without porn if you still feel you need to.

I'm just realizing that porn is a problem in my life, Not a recreation.
What I was just realizing the other day is. That porn has actually jaded me.
I rember when i first started looking at porn, Or even when i realized what women were at 13ish. And how A bouncing boob would turn me on.. or how when i discovered a new adult mag in the house.. And how excited i was!!

now it's like looking at porn and how the internet has made it super easy to obtain. is just to easy.. And now i only get turned on by super hot porn chics. when back in the day an ugly naked chic would tunr me on..

I think porn addiction is a major problem these days..
what you need to do is just stop looking at porn.. It's hard like any addiction..
But after a couple weeks you should be horny enough to bang fat ugly monsters.. Trust me.. Pron is not reality..

Porn can be a serious addiction. I know.. It's cost me money, Made me late for work.. and so on..
I would get rid of any porn you may have, and just be dtrong and fight the urge.

there have been a significant amount of studies done on circumstances similar to yours aswell as the link between depression, self motivation, ect. google it you will find them.
if you feel guilty then find a way to modify your behavior and achive what you really like.
