PHEW, you scared me for a second. I would never buy a playstation 3, the graphics didnt impress me when i played it at Best Buy, hell i think even the 360 had better graphics

You're a little late, but good luck. The highesat I'm seeing bids right now is between $700-$800.

I know three people that got one on launch day, and they all broke within three days. They're having a problem with overheating, so if you keep yours, stand it up when you play it.

I watched a couple this morning go for over a grand. But if i make 750-800 so be it.. I still come out ahead..
The overheating/hardware problems i've heard too.. that is why i almost never buy a launch system.




and Jshizz.. Started the auction a 99 cents.. reserve is what I paid for it around 630 with tax. My wife would KILL me if i took a loss on it.

why is graphics such a thing with people lol, i dont go by graphic capabilities, because i cant see well as it is, but people still wont let me choose gameplay instead, all i bloody get is OH MY FUCKING JEEBUS, GOW IS LIEK BEST GRAPHICS EVAR, W00T W00T W00T! and noone ever gives this game a gameplay mention, BTW im sure its an enjoyable game to some, but again coz its the 360 im not allowed to hate that either.

Yeah, I get a kick out of all the graphic capabilities you find listed in some spec sheets. I got a kick out of it when I first got into IBM style PCs. My best friend bought me a computer so I could do my programming work at home and so I could help him when he bought his own. I got a cheap store brand SX-33 with a 14inch. He finally went out and bought himself a top of the line DX-100 with 4x more memory, a $800 graphics card and a $1000 monitor. I couldn't see any differnce except for the larger screen size. Well he ended up getting a game which wouldn't play on his machine but worked fine on my cheap set up. Here the graphics card was top of the line but excelled in CadCam line drawling not Game software that required a high frame rate. He went out and bought a 32-bit 1Mb card with the optional piggyback mpeg card at a total of $1200. It solved his fps rate problem but I couldn't convince him he be just as well off with a middle of the road card the would have solve the problem without costing him a ton of money. It still didn't look any better other than the larger screen size. He never figured they would come ot with 64 bit cards. It was alright by me. I got his handme downs.

Sorry man, but you must be talking to the wrong people about games. I hear much more about gameplay than graphics. It's just with the launch people are promised bigger and badder things from there system. Yes SYSTEM. So with talking about the system, you wanna know what it can and can't do.

Now if you are talking about games alone, yes graphics come into play. As much fun as playing old Atari and NES games still are, people soon would become tiresome with grainy pixel'd out charaters and levels.

But gameplay is still there.....and talked about. Example, Grand Theft Auto. All gameplay, little graphics. Yet it still is one of the most popular franchises today. All because of gameplay gameplay gameplay.

So, when you say people won't let you choose gameplay, you must just get really bad advice from the people you are talking too.

well it sold today.. for my buy it now price. 850 bucks! So that makes me happy. I make over 200 bucks profit and thats what i wanted.. w00t!!
