Hey.

So there is this girl that I see wherever i go. She's not like generally pretty, but for some reason there is something about her that drives me nuts. The only problem is I see her everywhere...not talk to her. Normally, I'm super out-going with everyone, but for some reason I can't just go up and talk to this girl. What do i do on this one?

Eye contact is one of the first things you need to make a good impression on. If you can flirt a bit just by looking at her before going over to talk to her it will seem easier.

When I see something I like I take the direct approach and always talk to them. That way if she says something to the effect of 'I'm not interested' I know to stop bothering or thinking about her because she doesn't want anything. If she says otherwise then i'm a happy camper with a new girl

As for her not being pretty and you finding something you like in her? Attraction doesn't mean a drop dead gorgeous girl every time. There are many things that draw us to another person - and if you only go by that which is the face value then you will have a very meaningless relationship.

I used to see a guy everywhere that I went, I liked him and told him, he ended up having a girlfriend, but I don't regret telling him how I felt. Just tell her. She might feel the same way.

Why are you afraid to talk to her- Hell if she bites you - then you got what you where thinking about.
Just walk up to her- just TALK to her - dont try and look thru her eyes to her soul- Might freak her out a little- I personally think Hi how are u doing - and my name is- is the greatest ice breaker- cause i not taking me out of my comfort zone- and if she dosent like how i approached to her then she can roll down the street.Cause thiers 300 Million people in the USA- Im pretty sure 295 Milliona are female...!! IMO

If you're really having a hard time working up the nerve, why don't you just pretend she is some girl you want to have a platonic friendship with. Hopefully that will help you get through the awkwardness.

hey guys. i really appreciate all the advice. to update...last night i was at a party and just went for it. we ended up hitting it off real well and will definitely hang out soon. you guys totally helped me out on this one. thanks again.

I'd start with just smiling at her. And perhaps she will be the one to approach you.

By just smiling at her you can freak her out - especially if you do it for an extended period of time. While a smile maybe effective way to see if she smiles back, or offers a reaction it is certainly not the only thing that you should have in your arsenal.

Seriously the most effective thing you can do to get a girl is to go up and talk to her.
