I hope this is the right section, i thought maybe the padded room... i do feel a little insane after seeing what i saw...

I was browsing through winamp in history, trying to find some of his Rob D. albums... when i come across a series of avi/mpegs with shit like "9yr old sex" "roped and raped" "16yr old boy with mature mom" nearly every title was suggesting some sort of pre-teen/underage rape/torture... i dunno what to do... his PC is currently at my house and he is using my internet to download this shit... i don't know wether to wait till he comes over next, beat his ass with the keyboard - tell his mother (he currently lives with her, and what he mentions alot is.. because he doesn't want to be away from his little sister.. i have no evidence that he is doing anything to her.. but it makes me feel weird..) - delete it all, talk to him and hope he fixes himself... or just unplug his pc, leave a message for him to pick it up and never speak to him again once he is gone...

any advice would be nice..

If he's using your internet connection to download stuff, I'd say you're well within your rights to delete anything like that, and bring it up to him ASAP.If he is downloading child porn, there's no way you can prove it's him and not you. If he gets caught, it's your ass on the line. Take care of that, like yesterday.

thanks for the reply - i just deleted all i could find... i'll talk to him when he gets off work... i have no idea how to start the conversation though... or how to lead up to it.. start out all pissed and yelling or act like he has a problem and needs help.. or .. some other way im not thinking of...

First of all, is he the only person that has owned that computer? And if I were you I would have a talk with his mother, for the saftey of the sister. if it continus to happen I would call the police. that is one way to get him some help.

its a brand new PC that has never left my house... since i arranged it for him... and now that i think about it... it might have been bought in my name.. the more i think about it, the more i get pissed off and weirded out. I want to call his mum straight out... but he has a few things on me... that if the person i lived with found out.. would kick me out...

can anyone give me a goodway to start out talking to him? I have big problems with confronting people... i either back down or start swinging... mainly because i have no idea what to say and get frustrated>give up/frustrated>punch

i am being dead serious when i say this...

any person who can sit down and watch child porn is a sick and twisted individual. he does not and should not have any rights to be near any child younger than age 18. that is just a sick person who can do that shit. delete it, talk to him and if he denies, tell him to get the fuck out. no kidding. you dont want to be affiliated with someone like that.

You need to contact your local police now and tell them this story. Because when (and it is when) a computer you bought using your internet connection is reported for child porn, it will be you wearing the cuffs and any story about 'the other guys stuff...'. Will be just that, a story. Turn him in now.

Well two sides to this story so read carefully.

Alot of the porno you will download of say emule / limewire etc. will have dodgy names like that in order to increase the amount of search possibilities - but they turn out to be regular porn. So make sure you get him to explain it without accusing him.

The other hand is that it is child porn. In which case I would personally call the police and get it cleared up ASAP. We don't need predators getting off, fantasining or lurking innocent children.

I rang him and he came over, i told him to take his PC and that he needs help and that i dont want anything to do with him anymore... He basicly took it like he had been expecting it to come up for some time.. I don't want to get the police involved if hes going to get help.. which he very badly needs.. (very sketchy passed... possibly on the same subject as this.. but reversed)

He didn't try to cover it up and he said he is going to get help... If he doesn't then i will call the cops...

I hope this is the end of it and he gets help... i'll post in a week or if something happens before then...

Kinda sad on my part =\ Not many people where i live, and he was, literaly, my only "RL" friend for about 2-3 days drive... is it wrong to be thinking of myself right now? this was probably best for the padded room..

If the Internet is in your name then your are responsible. If it is in your house you are responsible. Now the catch is this; if you have another computer in your house that you use DELETE every nude and semi-nude item off that PC. ( Thats your escape goat that you dont like porn. ) Now we all dont want to have to do that. Soooooo kick his @$$ and DELETE everything on his PC. Now if you get Raided........ Initial Search warrant only alows access to ALL the PC's in the house. BUT They can only Visual search the Computers. ( Meaning they cant Code your PC in order to search deleted items. )

He isn't going to get help. He is going to find someone else who will let him surf under their name.

If he touched any other computers in your house you should reformat and reinstall everything. DO NOT TAKE THIS COMPUTER TO A SHOP. Likley he did not use your computer for his porn, but do you really want to find out when your name is in the papers for CP?

maybe he never really was on limewire or anything before and was just rootin around for porn, he might not be a real wierdo. think critically and decide what you really think, dont just be all emotional and passionate.
