Top Gear's Richard Hammond in critical accident.
One of top gear's presenters, Richard Hammond, was critically injured today filming a scene for the new series of Top Gear in a jet powered car. No details have been released as of yet as to what exactly has happened, but I hope others, like myself, have our fingers crossed that he can fully recover. Top Gear wouldnt be the same without him!

Dang, I love Top Gear, although it's only on sporadically here in the states, and always at weird times. I'm even a brainiac fan, although same deal with the scheduling. Hopefully he gets back in it!

Each episode has something outrageous in it, seems like. This time it was outrageous and dangerous, a bad combination. I'm glad he's OK, because that show has a great group of guys.

Just watched the Clarkson interview on Johnathon Ross show. "Hammond was asked to go to York and drive fast in a straight line... he's a rubbish driver" Classic Clarkson to show some sort of feeling (the bad kind).
I heard from a Doc in York that he's up and about as normal back home in Surrey... Good luck.
