the only drug i do is oxycontin, i have been for a while. So i passed out like i always do when i was semi high, i had felt sick all day from a binge sort of of smoking it. I fall asleep and had a dream of what i thought acid would be like, (i have never done it). Then i had like 4 other dreams, one with a crazy narrator, when someone was trying to steal all my pills for me. I woke up after all these weird dreams that i was decribing so vividly right when i woke up, and i was actually scared and freaked out. I started to feel like what if smoking this drug can make you have a very distorted sense of reality. I have anxiety and so thinking all this just started to make the wheels turn i started having like a semi panic attack for about 20 mins. I didnt want to sleep again because all i could think about was these thoughts of what ifs, and how weird these dreams were, and lastly why the fuck i was having them. One other thing i belive this is pretty much the first generation to smoke oxycontin, heavily. I know alot of people that are very addicted, and need to go to rehab. This drug seems to make me and others really angry and irratible. I was wondering what if since there hasnt been many studies on humans and the effects of smoking oxy on the human brain, what if this drug really can just make you go crazy? What if you couldnt distinguish dreams from reality? What if everything seemed to be just one crazy dream, and there was no cure, or solution to this. Does anybody think all this is some sort of a sign, or maybe it could be true. Those dreams last night, and thinking about everything, made me the most freaked out, and sick i have been in a long time.

As for studies and facts I dont know, but I went through the same thing when I was a pothead. Personally I think its all of your subconsious thoughts and worrys that just come out when you sleep. I had the same dreams when I smoked that were fuckin crazy, shootouts, cops, ripoffs....its been almost 3 years since I last smoked and I still have em every now and then. Other "habits" I had also caused the same effect, but when I started freakin I had had enough. Signs and truth , I just know its not all that uncommon

Icarus how is the addiction coming man?You smoking it now?I'm still cruising the Sub.It seems to be working for me.Its better than before by miles-no worrying about running out,where to get more,withdrawals,hospitals,all that chit!

I agree with the last post,I think its your sub-conscience mixing with your conscious state-both being influenced by drugs.

Addiction sucks, but i think im working with it alot better than my friends. I mean i can go if i have to without it for a while, but my friends are like everyday everyday. It was weird for a while i just started smoking it for no reason just because it was easier. Now i cant really even smoke it anymore it just makes me puke.

The drug you're doing is just a different form of heroin. I've done it, and I wouldn't go near it again.

Oxy is a fackin epidemic.Icarus,I been there and back.It sounds(without any pissant preaching whatsoever)like you still have a little bit of control left-fight like a fothermucker to keep it!Don't take this wrong,but I'm glad that chit is making you sick-maybe it will disuade you?It's wierd though,never even heard of smoking it until you mentioned it.How is it different/same as say chewing it for example?Dude,I would think twice about burnin those chemicals into my brain(yeah right,I should talk-burned speed,crack,coke etc..LOL)At least with pure opium/pot/salvia etc. you know what you are getting-being plant based and all(heh).
