McAfee Siteadvisor gives this warning about webrats pages: "Breaches browser security...When we browsed this site, it made unauthorized changes to our test PC.".

Does anyone know what this is about?

Thanks.

It is just telling you that there might be a possible threat for spam, spyware, or even viruses. You just have to make McAfee to trust the site.

Re: McAfee Siteadvisor and webrats

in the past there have been times when some twidget has posted a link/addy to something they were promoting or thought was a "good idea" ... these sites contained scum/spy/malware . unfortunately before the links/addys could be removed some members/viewers went to these places and got nailed .

yet another reason to make sure that you have GOOD anti-viri/scum/spy/malware installed and it is up to date .
