what do you people think about this new september 11th movie comming out. I think it is too soon (my opinion). I mean, wouldnt you feel a little frustrated that some hollywood big shot is making a movie about your loss ( and a counrtys tradgety) just to make a couple million in his pocket. i mean it wouldnt bother me if some of the earnings from this movie went to the families of the victims or a foundation to creat a monument in the name of September 11, but none of it is going to the public, all of it goes into the hands of the actors and director. i just feel a little discomforted about the whole thing.

i would just like to know what you guys and gals think about it. i would appreciate all opinions. thank you

i'm not sure. I thought about that when I saw the first preview but now I'm not sure. We're a very fast moving society and many people (meaning the general public) have put it into their long-term memory as a historical event. If this movie helps people remember then it might be a good thing.

I can't even believe it's been 5 years nearly!! I remember EXACTLY where I was and what I was doing when I heard the first news report, and I'm half a world away!

If this movie is all about profiteering and it's not feeding some of the profit back into the community effected, I would argue that it should have been left alone entirely. It's gonna be painful for a lot of people, and putting people through that isn't fair, especially so comparatively soon after the event.

me to i was in biology... anyways i dont think its to soon.. arent they focusing more on the heroism aspects? and the survival? rather than the terrorism and deaths? if that is the case i think it would be fine

I actually felt the movie helped me get some emotions out. I cried like a baby throughout most of it. I lived on long island at the time and was in only 9th grade when it happened. It was just 5 years ago too and i was sitting in class and then over the P.A. my principal said those fateful words that we were being attacked. Jesus its like clear as day for me. Just writing this right now gives me goosebumps and bad memories. But like Booyal said the movie did focus more on heroism and survival aspect. By the end of the movie i came out with a sense of relief really, knowing that underneath all that evil that took place that day, there was still some good in this world.

9/11 happened, there are other things just like it that happened, that dont seem to gain much publicism.

let the movie happen, the subject its covering is a bit tasteless (for those involved and the situation if covers)

but this is how terrorism works, doing things to put TERROR into people, if we never mvoe on from this, we can never truly overcome terrorism, so go watch the movie, maybe even enjoy it, but dont be all OMFW THIS WAS ALL WRONG TO MAKE DA MOVIE, COZ WE FEAR TERRORISM.

Its all about throwing shit in terrorist's faces. Fuck them all analy 4 all I care, they can burn in hell and this movie serves send this message to them. Its a psycholojical battle for everybody, but its the right move. Shows that their puny attack has done shit to stop Americans from living whatever way we fucking want.
