Well i recently found out that my GF of about a year blew me off saying she had to work when she realy hangs out with a guy that has been away for a while that is very "fond" of her. to make the problem worse she told her friend (whom i found this out from) not to tell him that we were dateing. the next day i go on holidays for a week and during that time my good friend takes his GF out to dinner and guess who he sees, my gf with that guy. WTF DO I DO

first you need to find a big ass stick, and start swinging that sucker as hard and as fast as you can.

actually, what you need to do is make your displeasure VERY vocal, as I have been known to do. And if your "girlfriend" is doing shady shit like that behind your back, it's time to give her the pink slip, and pull her application.

She might tell you that there's nothing going on, that it's all with innocent intentions, but that's a load of crap. SOMEONE is out for something, be it her or him. One of the two are trying to get laid. Trust me on this, I've proved this theory time and time again.

a couple of different thoughts here ...

maybe she wants to end the relationship and isn't capable of being honest enough tell you ... so , she is setting up a situation , hoping that you WILL get mad ... blame it on YOU time .

she could be doing the stepping stone thing ... have a guy waiting THEN she terminates her relationship with you in one way or another (see the above) .

the bottom line is that she has no respect for you and has proven this thru lies and deception ...
she is looking for a reason to justify her actions ... you getting mad would be part of this ... cooler heads shall prevail .

personally , i would calmly tell her in person simply that it is "over" ... turn and walk away ... let her own her own misdeeds in this . let her keep the anger and hostility . in this , you most likely won't be giving her what she needs to run her scam on you ... and that will affect her more than all the angry words you could say .

Its really simple what you do - leave.

No woman and no man is ever worth stressing over. If you suspect they are cheating - leave. If they are cheating leave. If he/she blatently lies leave.

Don't try to salvage something just so 'its like old times' its not worth it. You should realise that all the time you have spent struggling to make him/her happy or trying to keep onto a relationship that is going down hill is only cutting into the time that you could be meeting someone who will truely love, support and appreciate you.

I'd rather lose and start again then have to fight the same battles over and over again.

i went out with a girl for 2 months, and turned out i was her bit on the side, and that hurt like hell, i wish i was as cool as the advice quoted here is, then id be totally better in my mind about it

If it was totally innocent then she wouldn't be lying about it and telling her friend not to tell you. Sounds like something's definitely up. I would have to agree with everyone and say drop her. Trust is one of the biggest things holding a relationship together, once that's gone, nothing else works.
