Hey i picked up some poppys and havent figured out how to extract the opium from them. I know you cut them, or i think you do, but you cut the pods right? Then im not sure if i am getting the right stuff out, its oozing out yellow stuff. Any body know a detailed way of doing this, its the first time ive tried, thanks.

You make little slitts all around the pod. The goo that comes out has the alkoloidal part.

the yellow goo is the alkoloidal part? and is there a good time to do it, ive heard 2 weeks after the flowers drop is best. And can i smoke it, when its yellow or do i have to let it sit over night. I took a rip of the yellow stuff when it was halfway solidified it was harsh and tasted like ass. I figured it would be danz coming to my rescue

have you done anything like this before if so, whats the high like, and how much do i gotta smoke? Also is there a better way of doing this, becuase im sick of buying painkilers id rather just smoke opium if its goodtimes.

Dude I know WAAAAY too much about this stuff.I ended up in treatment because of poppies.Be careful,you are "chasing the dragon."Poppies are much more addictive because they contain like 50 more alkaloids than say heroin for example.Also,they make you physically dependant extremely quickly,causing severe withdrawals when you stop.

yeah too late already a little to addicited to oxycontin. Heroin wasnt even that great for me oxy feels better to me.

Soorry to hear that.I've been there and back too many times.There is a new drug on the market that works wonders for addiction called Bupernorphine.If you are addicted to oxys you've got your work cut out for you.Check out this link:

Hey Icarus I dunno how far into it you are ie.:whether you are still able to get high and enjoy it or if you are in serious need of alternatives,but the Bupe can be used in a couple of different ways.You can use it to safely taper off the oxy short term or you can use it as a long term maint. to keep you off the shit.I've been on it since March 06' and have never been better.Anyhow,I've said all I need to say about this unless you have any questions.
