I am going on a cruise to the South of France later on this month. We are getting off of the ship in Barcelona, and staying the day.

I have one day in Barcelona, should get there early AM (9ish) and flying out the next day at around 11am.

If anyone has any suggestions on some of the must do things there, please pass along. Any info. would be greatly appreciated, as well as any tips, guidance for going to Barcelona. Thanks in advance.

Its a nice city with a long beach on the Mediterranean. Theres a lot of 15th century buildings in the gothic quarter. Montjuic - 1992 olympic site is worth a look, as is Tibidabo - a local hill overlooking the city(a lot to do here.)
