Re: Funny Joe Cocker Video...WoodstocK
You think that one of the greatest shows is funny? A man sings with all his heart and passion, and it gets ruined by some 10 year old?

Damn guys! It was just a funny. I have nothing against Joe Cocker at all. In fact I think he's awesome. Very tough crowd here. :usuck:

Re: Funny Joe Cocker Video...WoodstocK
Of all the jokes and banter that gets thrown around this place, I actually find it pretty funny that so many people would get all bent out of shape over a parodied Joe Cocker clip.
Anyways, I thought it was mildly amusing. |
Re: Funny Joe Cocker Video...WoodstocK
The only person to have successfully poked fun at Joe Cocker (and Joe Cocker actually thought it was funny) was John Belushi on Saturday Night Live when Belushi performed a song as "Joe Cocker" and Joe Cocker came out in the middle of the song to join Belushi in song.

Back in '69 when you seen Joe perform at Woodstock you probably figured he was stoned. Besides who under thirty at that time hadn't got stoned in '69. Young people probably only think it's the theme song to the "Wonder Years". At 64 his signature air guitar has slowed down a bit. It's probably time for him to rearange another Beetles song("When I'm Sixty-Four"). Couldn't find the SNL clip. John mimics Joe Joe at 64(2008) |
