Pneumonia is caused by a number of things, not limited to a bacterial infection, so a pill may or may not help. There are even parasitic infections that can cause pneumonia, which is a leading cause of death in AIDS patients with pneumonia. It seems Bernie Mac even had sarcoidosis, which causes nodules in organs, mainly the lymph nodes and lungs. It's been said, though, that the sarcoidosis wasn't a factor in Mac's pneumonia. If you look at some of his pictures, and it's something I've noticed on his show, sometimes he seems to be a bit jaundice, indicating some kind of liver problems. I could be wrong, I'm no Dr.

Regardless, I liked Bernie Mac, I like his sarcastic sense of humor.

Pneumonia is a real motherfucker this time of year. My wife got hit with it all of a sudden in August about 30 years ago. For some reason it's more deadly this time of year. She's put on Antibiotics if she blows here nose wrong since then.

I loved Bernie Mac. One of the funniest roles he had was the racist cop in "DBAMWDYJITH" (Don't Be A Menace While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood).

I hate black pepper!
