Adding a Bridge to the Commute!
So since our housing market has started to slow a little bit, I have decided to take the offer from a client to go work for them.
The job is labeled as "Architectural Services Manager" which is to say I will be coordinating everything that has to do with the design, drawing and permit process rather then doing the design and drawings themselves. The money is about the same to start, but now I get benefits, stat holidays, profit sharing, RRSP matching, cost of living increases etc... I also get a commute, less write-offs and regular hours... The job will teach me a ton more about the industry as well as give some job security and will be a new challenge. Wish me luck, I start on the 18th of Aug. |

Re: Adding a Bridge to the Commute!
So you get to chose the architect? If not, by your description, you are just a permit expediter :fawkd:

I will still use the same Architect. There is more to it then just permits. I'll be working with land acquisition and siting as well as working on design guidelines no list a bit. Quote:
Unfortunately not...would make things a lot easier if I could...and our train looks like this... Quote:
Yes, yes I did....but I have backup if it doesn't work out so I'm OK with that for now. Though I should have sold it for more money then I did... |
