I fail to see what the problem is. Play the game if they are down, and if anything else happens, well good. They are not going to care if you get hard. They are probably hoping/counting on it. IMO there is no way you should let an opportunity like this pass by because you are worried about lasting. Besides, if they are first-timers, they aren't going to know the difference anyway and it won't take you long at all to get back in the action.
