Poor Aaron Rodgers. And while John Madden is probably wiping his mouth of Bretts man chowder, the rest of us are left wondering why he went through the whole weepy eyed retirement facade in the first place.

most of the "news" isn't news anyhow. Its just made up to get people talking. There were unsubstantiated reports that Favre said he contacted the Packers saying he was thinking about coming back. Favre said there was no such converstation. So im not sure how favre is being a douche.


Anyhow would i like to see him come back, sure. Would it have been better if he waited longer to make his decision, maybe, maybe not. As of right now this is Rodgers team and unless favre says he's coming back it will remain.

I am a bears fan i hate packers but you don't understand football becomes your friend, family and life you can't just break off that easy... His whole life was based on waking up early on sunday to play football man you don't have to hate so much he has the best sportsmanship i have ever seen. As a bear fan i respect him. But am very glad he is gone less of a threat.

And now he's made it official. Favre sent a letter through his agent asking for his release. I've been a worshiper at the altar of Brett for as long as I can remember, but even I am wondering what the goddamn hell he's doing. He retired. He made noises about this in March and was offered his job back, but declined. AND NOW HE WANTS HIS RELEASE? TO GO TO ANOTHER TEAM?!?!??!?!? I guess it's time to find religion, because the Apocalypse is clearly at hand. I'm gonna go cry now.
