I've never, ever seen the movie. I don't understand it and probably cannot without seeing the movie. From what I've heard, I'll need to see the movie in a theater and bring toast...

I met Tim Curry (years ago, once). He loved and hated that movie. He loved the royalties and the fact it got his career started, but had to fight off the stereotype. Nice flamer of a guy (based on the one hour I spoke with him).

I want to have my daughter watch it, but my wife says she has to know what a transvestite is first. So tonight, I asked her if she knows what a transvestite is, she says no. I asked her if she knew what a transsexual is, she says no. I asked her if she knew what Transylvania was, and she says "no.....wait.....isn't that a state?" A couple minutes later she says "oh yea, its Pennsylvania, not Transylvania".

I thought is was funny...
