Hey I just did this & thought I'd share it with you all. Are you aware that once a year you are entitled to get a copy of your credit report absolutely free with no strings attached?

Well you are, and I am not talking about that "not-so"freecreditreport.com place either. FCR.com is a ripoff by the way, they will make you jump thru many hoops to get your credit report & try to sell you all kinds of other services in the process.

No - the place to go is http://www.annualcreditreport.com

There you can get a credit report from each of the 3 major services once a year for absolutely nothing. Yes, there are some extraneous offers for things (to buy) along the way, but refusing them does not disqualify you and it is not confusing at all to just get what you want without getting accidentally signed up for some other bullshit.

No I am not making any money off of this, I just got my three reports and wanted to share this resource with my friends here - I would never spam the board I moderate on and I would never send my friends to a rip-off site, so you can feel secure in knowing that this is a genuine cool thing.

Thank you sir, I had negatives on it that I didn't even know about!!! Time to call the collectors and get that shit off!!
