Is a secured credit card worht the 300 bucks that is needed to to get the card- Or is it just another Bank ploy to slice money from consumers??

Look closer at the paperwork that you got. I get those all the time, and you have lots of fees in the fine print. Usually for a card of around $300, about half of that is going to be fees. Besides that, all you're doing is getting charged interest on the money you give them for the card. If you have the money to put on that and you need a credit card number for something, just look into something like a visa gift card. It works just like a regular credit card, and the fee you pay for it is almost nothing, with no interest charged at all.

Well i just got my card and bought a speaker and some gas- i get paid next week so ill be able to pay that off!!! Hello to Good Credit!!
