What is your favorite book?
 

id say the title is self explanitory. Ill start it out with Catcher in the rye. Every one seemed to think it was depressing. I thought it was a great book, but then again i hate reading.

Hello new best friend! I have read the four books every spring since grade seven. I refuse to say how many years that has been, but it's pretty close to your 20 years.

There's so many, like OG and Moto I read LOTR once a year. I have to buy a new copy this year as the pages are starting to fall out. And I'm just finishing reading the hobbit to my five year old. Owen Meany (Irving) is a fav, followed by anything else by him, The Enormous Room (ee cummings), anything by hemingway and on and on and on

The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson
(going to be 3 books in 3 trilogies... so far, 7 are out and the first 6 are the best)

Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy. Lords of Discipline was good too. I haven't read the rest of his stuff, but I probably should.

I liked Dune, not as much as Ender's Game but I'm surprised no one mentioned that one.

Tough one: Ive read silmarillion and LOTR many times but not recently.

Wilbur Smith: I have a habit of reading his stuff in 2 nights..probably river god his best.

Clemson: I see you like fantasy?. Have you tried feist?. Good author
