The whole series is amazing and to die for... I highly recommend, ender's game being the best... newer though, Eldest and Eragon are quality books

Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow are probably the best books I've ever read. I highly recommend them both, along with the rest of the series. I'm glad someone else agrees.

I read Enders Game bout 10 years ago and it's definitly top 5 for me. Never knew it was a series or I just forgot cause lent it to a friend. Haven't seen it since.

Absolute favorite book is Ender's Game. probably read it more than most other books.

I used to have the whole series, and I also recomment the split from it, the series on Bean. Shadow of the Hegemon is the latest, and though very sad, is very very worth it.

Also, I am planning on buying some of the Ender series for my sister to give her as a present when she leaves for Iraq. It got a lot of soldiers through Desert Storm, and I hope it will server her just as well.

If you enjoyed these books you should try "Seventh Son" - that book kicks off a series Card started many years ago and kind of abandoned after about 3 books. I hope he finishes it.

ender and bean series are both excellent - OSCard does (rarely) slip into some mild proseletysing for his favourite religions, but that is not a big issue compared to the huge issue of "unjust war" that he deals with. Perhaps a little dated in parts now, but still worth the read

Like everyone else said, both Ender's game and Ender's shadow were generally really good and interesting reads. But after those two books, I read Speaker of the Dead, and I found it really boring. Maybe it's just the fact that there were too many parts where I couldn't comprehend what they were saying since it was in a different language, but even the plotline really lacked the action-packed intensity that was imminent in the other two books. People have told me Xenocide is pretty good, but sadly I kinda gave up after failing to read Speaker of the Dead.

Well, they have supposedly been about to make a movie of ender's game for like 12 years now, but it keep getting pushed back. Recently IMDB updated its status to pre-production. I'll probably read ender's game again and speaker etc. I only read ender's and the bean series.
