First off there was no one native american lauguage. Secondly the first indians that the settlers would have contacted along the eastern coast would have spoken Algonquian like the Lenape(Delaware) in Eastern New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The Iroquois were located in western New York State. Even the first treaty the US made and Broken with an Indian tribe was "The Treaty with the Delawares" in 1778 at Fort Pitt. They had even though they were going to be head of the 14th US state for some reason.

Besides the Iroquois declined US citizenship, why would we want to have their language as our national language.

1924 - The Indian Citizenship Act gave U.S. citizenship to American Indians, including the right to vote in national elections. However, it did not provide full protection under the Bill of Rights to Indians living under tribal governments. Several nations, including the Hopi and the Iroquois, declined U.S. citizenship in favor of retaining sovereign nationhood
