I'm still undecided about the election.

But, frankly I don't see a conflict here. The oil companies HAVE acted like shits. AND supporting offshore drilling will deflate the speculative bubble which has been going on all summer.

We'd be cutting our nose off to spite our face if we continue to allow oil futures to rise wildly out of control. Inlation would send us back into an historic recession AND the oil barons would still make huge profits.

You have to use logical, strategic thinking, not an emotional reaction here.
