Has anyone here ever experienced an Ether high? What is it like and where do you get it. I know it is not a scheduled drug, but I am a little clueless about what the deal with this stuff is. I just watched "Fear and Loathing" so I am curious.

CH3-CH2-O-CH2-CH3. It is a VERY powerful drug that is also VERY flamable. The easyest way to make it is through a Williamson Synth.(in any organic chem book) I think the gas product that you are talking about is starting fluid. Some brands, I think, still put ether in them, but there are a lot of other organic solvents in it.

Ether synthesis Ethanol (pure alcohol) + sulfuric acid -> ether don't know where the average person can get the acid. I don't know if citric acid is strong enough, but if it is, it would be much safer to drink without any purification. Anyway, I work in a chem lab and could easily still a ton of this stuff. I was wondering if anyone had experience the high and exactly how much and how to take it? It usually gives me a headache after working with it for several hours and i'm curious about after effects.
